06. A Loss of Nuance
A cultural probe.
As a part of my thesis research, I decided to investigate a loss of terminology, a loss of habit, and a loss of haptic feedback - which all in turn become a loss of nuance.
I took a human-centered approach by creating a product, made with a kit of parts, and send it to a controlled pool of participants and an uncontrolled pool of interviewees as a response generator.
Medium: packaging paper, stuffing paper, vellum, glassine, kraft paper, hand-made bleached paper, vellum, tracing paper, hand-made kraft paper sample, rice paper, ink.
Instructed by David Burke.
